Renovation of Grade II Listed mixed use medical and residential building
24 Queen Anne St
London W1
We have completed the renovation of a mixed use Grade II Listed Building at 24 Queen Anne St, London W1. The existing Grade II listed building had historic mixed residential and medical use with a series of poorly subdivided consulting rooms and an under used basement area suffering from years of water ingress. The cantilevered stone stairs were in poor condition.
We renovated the building carefully introducing modern mechanical and electrical services and upgrading the fire protection. Historic doors were delicately renovated, reducing gaps and install intumescent strip to upgrade their performance. Floors had fire rated insulation installed to ensure proper fire separation. Lime plastered ceilings were repaired.
Initially we took the building to Cat A level of finish and when the Professor Stanga and Retina Center London took the lease we assisted with their fit out.
