Urban Mesh were engaged at Stages 4-5  for the delivery of 27 new units opposite the former Hayes electricity power station.

Stage 3 scheme design was rationalised to minimise circulation and improve outlook and accommodation of the units. Fire and accessibility design also determined further internal changes.  Externally the focus was on ensuring that the built scheme would be detailed in accordance with the requirements and spirit of Stage 3 design and LPA conditions whilst also ensuring that service runs – in particular gas – could be installed with greatest aesthetic and economic efficacy.
