Johns Mews is an innovative mansard roof extension to a two storey brick mews house in Bloomsbury, Central London.

The design uses an undulating form to reduce the impact of the roof and dark zinc cladding which complements the traditional slate mansard of the conservation area. The new windows pick up on the bays of the neighbouring properties, tying the proposal into the existing local building fabric while retaining a dynamic contemporary style.

We have gained planning consent and the project is due to go on site.
